Training:
Dr. Ganey holds a masters and doctorate in clinical psychology from George Fox University located outside of Portland, Oregon. Dr. Ganey completed his pre-doctoral internship at Philhaven Behavioral Health Services as a child and adolescent specialist. He completed his post-doctoral training at Foundations Behavioral Health, a private psychiatric hospital for children and adolescents, located in Doylestown, PA. He completed his bachelor of science at Messiah College with a major in Pre-Med/Biology and minor in Chemistry.
Dr. Ganey has been working with children, adolescents and adults since 1994. He was trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy including Cognitive Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Dr. Ganey's passion is working with adolescents/young adults (ages 12-28). He works with several different disorders including anxiety, ADHD, ASD, Bipolar, depression, and eating disorders (Anorexia and Bulimia). He also works with people who are looking simply to improve themselves and achieving the life they desire.
Experience:
GCC was opened in 2006 with the vision of developing a comprehensive counseling center to meet the needs of individuals and families in the lower central bucks area. In the spring of 2015 GCC partnered with other clinicians, Wrightstown Family Medicine and Choice One to found HOPE Coalition. This Think Tank was designed to develop community outreach, workshops and seminars. Dr. Ganey also serves in PPA, Pennsylvania Psychological Association, as Chair of the Electronic Media and Communications Committee and is on the RXP committee seeking to gain prescriptive privileges for psychologists in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Ganey served as a staff psychologist at Foundations Behavioral Health (2001-2010) providing assessments, BHRS evaluations, outpatient therapy, supervision, training and directing the Pre-doctoral Psychology Internship Program (APPIC). He served as a staff psychologist at Delaware Valley Children's Center (2010-2013) where he worked with therapists, provided supervision and conducted evaluations for the BHRS program. He currently serves as the Head of Psychology at Milestone Behavioral Health in Yardley, PA where he provides evaluations, consultation, training and supervision.
Dr. Ganey is an adjunct professor at Liberty University (2010-). He formerly taught in the masters of counseling programs at Messiah University (2010-2013) and Holy Family University (2014-2017).
